The Itinerary
Day 1.

Sunday 29 November 2020: Home – to Newcastle                                                  Lunch & Dinner
We pick you up this morning and travel North along the M1 having morning tea along the way. Enjoy all the sights Newcastle Harbour has to offer as we cruise the working port and picturesque foreshore aboard the Nova Cruises . See and hear the commentary about the harbour’s coal loading facilities, tug boats and big ships up-close. Indulge in the freshly prepared buffet lunch consisting of seasoned roasted chicken, double smoked leg ham, hand carved off the bone, fresh local prawns, and a selection of salads to compliment. Enjoy a selection of petit fours for dessert with tea & coffee or purchase from a full range of drinks available from the fully licensed bar. After returning ashore will then make our way to our accommodation for the next two nights in the beautiful Hunter Valley Four Star Harrigans Irish Pub & Accommodation.

Day 2

Monday 30 November 2020 Hunter Valley                                                                 Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Following a hearty Breakfast at the Bistro we will travel a short distance to the Hunter Valley Gardens, Australia’s largest display gardens. Whilst here, we will enjoy a fabulous train ride around the gardens with commentary from one of the local horticulturists. Throughout the day there will be very interesting and informative talks at various locations, the Program is available to view on entry. Fish feeding in the Japanese Pagoda is held each afternoon. After lunch at the Garden Terrace we again travel a short distance to the Hunter Valley Village where we will have free time to explore the beautiful shops like, Hunter Valley Liqueurs and Baerami Olives, British Lolly Shop, Hunter Valley Chocolate Factory, Beautiful Things, Bliss Coffee, Candelabra, The Waiter’s Friend, Garden Cellars for wine tasting, a Christmas Shop, and lots more.

Afterwards there is time to relax in our accommodation before returning to the Hunter Valley Gardens for a terrific Christmas Dinner at the Garden Terrace. Here we will be entertained by an Angel singing Christmas Carols. After dinner we will enter the Spectacular Christmas Lights of the Hunter Valley Gardens. Bring in the festive season with the annual Christmas Lights Spectacular: a magical tradition with millions of lights on display including exciting new features and many of your favourites. The lights are supported by background music to delight and entertain you. After which we return back to our accommodation at Harrigans.
