Day 1. Thu 9 April: Home – Wangaratta
This morning we pick you up from home and begin our drive to Wangaratta. We enjoy several comfort stops
and arrive into Wangaratta for check-in to our accommodation for the next four nights. Dinner tonight is in
the motel restaurant.
Overnight Wangaratta: Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway

Day 2. Fri 10 April: Myrtleford – Beechworth
This morning we visit the Australian Pumpkin Seed Company for an insight into the pumpkin seed industry.
We enjoy an audio visual, taste test pumpkin seeds, pumpkin seed oil and more followed by morning tea.
We travel across to Beechworth and meet our guide at the Beechworth Visitor Information Centre to take
in the highlights of the historic Beechworth precinct. After our tour we stop by the deliciously renowned
Beechworth Bakery for a chance to purchase lunch. After lunch we visit the historic Courthouse for a
costumed trial re-enactment based on actual court transcripts. We will get to play the role of judge, juror,
lawyers and even Ned Kelly himself whose appearances included his committal hearing for the murders of
Constables Lonigan and Scanlon. This afternoon we depart Beechworth and return to our accommodation
for a rest before dinner.
